What we believe

The Episcopal Church is a liturgical tradition, meaning our worship follows a structured format.

The Book of Common Prayer (BCP) guides our worship, faith, and daily life, uniting our diverse church through shared prayers. A significant portion of the BCP is derived from the Bible, which is central to our faith and worship.

We gather for worship each week, exploring passages from the Old and New Testaments, reading a Psalm together, and listening to a Gospel reading. Sermons offer insights into the day's readings, helping us understand Scripture more deeply and apply its teachings to our lives. As Episcopalians, we interpret Scripture through the lenses of tradition, reason, and experience.

Beyond baptism and the Eucharist, the Episcopal Church recognizes other significant sacraments: confirmation, reconciliation, matrimony, ordination, and unction. These rituals mark important milestones in our faith journey and reinforce our commitment to Christ.
